A Legacy of Craftsmanship Since 1795.
Pleasant Lane Farms Creamery is a veteran-owned, multi-award-winning family farm producing small-batch artisan farmstead cheeses from the milk of our own small herd of dairy cows.
Since 1795, the Frye family has been dedicated stewards of agriculture in western Pennsylvania, proudly preserving 185 acres of farmland while upholding values of exceptional quality, environmental sustainability, compassionate animal welfare, forward-thinking innovation, and a passion for farm-to-table.
In 1976 we moved to our current farm, near Latrobe PA.
Explore our state-of-the-art Smart Barn featuring robotic milking and automated cow care. Come join a guided farm tour to witness modern dairy technology in action.
In 2020, we opened our state of the art, farmstead creamery. Our creamery has earned top honors from prestigious competitions including the American Cheese Society, World Dairy Expo, World Cheese Awards, U.S. Championship Cheese Contest, Los Angeles International Dairy Competition, and Pennsylvania Farm Show.
